Hello. My name is Lacey. I'll start by saying that my greatest and most proud achievement yet comes with the title "Mama". I am very proud of my three children: a set of twins in the bundle. In 2017 I quit my job of 7 years as an Emergency Room Technician and became a Homemaker. I homeschooled my children from preschool age up till this last year, when they finally entered public school for the first time.
In 2022 we moved to Arkansas and lived in a fifth wheel for a year. Arkansas was not for us. We ventured back to Oregon for five months, only to return “home” to Northern California in 2024. After traveling for a bit, I’m convinced that we have something unique and powerful in our North State community. I'm grateful to call this area "home". I can honestly say that the natural beauty and outdoor opportunities in Northern California are some of the best across America.
I’m an outdoor enthusiast like many others who live around here. I’ll choose to go camping over any attraction in a city. Tent camping, hiking, spending the day at the lake barbecuing and inner tubing are some of my most favorite outings. I love horseback riding, fishing (if I’m getting bites), and exploring a back road, just to escape and see what's out there and around the bends.
I developed a niche for Massage Therapy while living in Arkansas. At the time I was discouraged from pursuing my interest, but another year went by, we found our way back to California and I decided to chase my dream! I completed a 1-year program studying Western and Eastern massage modalities. It opened my eyes to so much opportunity for pain management and mental health support, all naturally! I explored an interest, and it has turned into a passion for helping others find a sense of renewal. Aside from opening my Massage business I am also returning to the field of Emergency Medical Services, part time.
I appreciate and enjoy the study of medicine, particularly natural medicine, and learning new remedies. The human body is such an intricate and fascinating creation, never a dull moment of study!
I have a thing for muscles and the skeletal system, perhaps it started with my battle against bone cancer in my younger years. I'm a cancer survivor!
I’m driven. Perseverance is what I live by. I stay active, pushing my strength to new levels, both physically and mentally. I see challenges as opportunities for growth. Some challenges I don’t want to have to face, but once I do, I find greater purpose, and a reason to be thankful for the struggle.
This last year was by far the hardest challenge my life has encountered yet. But with it came even greater successes. What could have destroyed me, brought greater purpose to my whole life story, making it even more beautiful. I find it interesting, that what is meant to harm us, can be turned for our ultimate good! My faith is what helps me face life's greatest hurdles and continue persevering. Faith never made the struggle easier, but it made it possible to overcome! What seemed impossible at one point, is now behind me.
I’m proud of where I’ve been, for its led to what I’ve overcome, and the journey in-between has helped me discover my greater depths. Failure can't have a place in our story if we search for lessons, learn and change course. Life is about change. If we aren’t changing for better, healthier, and wiser purposes, for the greater good of ourselves and others then we’re sitting complacent and letting the blessings and true meaning of life pass us by.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose Romans 8:28
